GOVERNMENT RELATIONS

The Vancouver Island Real Estate Board works closely with our provincial and national associations to promote the interests of homeowners, buyers, and sellers on Vancouver Island.

Through the BC Real Estate Association (BCREA) and the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), we take an active role in lobbying government for sound policies, effective legislation, and good practices that improve the quality of life in our communities.

Our work as consumer advocates in the areas of property rights, home ownership, and affordability has been recognized nationally through CREA.
